I have Santa Cecilia countertop in my kitchen. It was beautiful at first. Unfortunately, it was deeply stained later.
What happened was, I put a plastic cover on the countertop in order to protect it (I did sealed the countertop, maybe not very well), and I arranged variety of sauce and spice bottles on the plastic cover, including a large bottle of cooking oil. Unfortunately, both the plastic cover and oil bottle became cracked or leaked. I did not notice anything until one day I tried to clean the plastic cover… I saw a huge and deep stain mark.
I went to Home Depot, the sales rep. suggested me some cleaners, in powder and in liquid. I tried both, they worked a little bit, but not very great. I know I have had it soaked for too long, but just wonder if there are any chemical which could restore the countertop, or at least make the stain less visible.

Oil and other stains can be removed from stone using a poultice.
For light olive oil stains, first try ammonia mixed into a paste with powdered chalk or corn or rice flour. Cover the stain with the paste, overlapping by about an inch, then cover with cling wrap and seal down with tape. This keeps the poultice moist, allowing the ammonia time to penetrate the stone.
Leave overnight, remove cover and allow poultice to dry, then brush off.
If that doesn't work or for heavier stains, repeat using acetate. For small stains, leave just one hour. For large ones (over 12 inches diameter) leave overnight. I have used this method several times and it works exactly as I had hoped - no trace of oil remained.

Thank you for your reply.
I have tried a repeatedly tried a few times. The mark has not gone, but became lighter. I will continue, and hopefully, it disappears soon.

In removing oil stains in your Countertops, all you need is 1 cup of flour and a mild dishwashing soap form a paste by adding water then apply the paste on the stained area covering it with plastic. Let it stay overnight. Remove the plastic and wipe it using s soft moist cloth. You can repeat the procedure until the stain is completely removed. If noticed that your counters are becoming less resistant to stain, maybe it already needs to be sealed. Ask your fabricator about waxing or sealing.
